International House Berkeley is currently accepting applications for room and board scholarships from exceptional students for the spring semester of 2023. International House offers a unique intercultural leadership development and living experience, making it an ideal location.

The I-House Scholarship program aims to provide UC Berkeley students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in diverse cultures from around the world, while also offering international students a chance to explore the ethnic and economic diversity in the United States.

With the generous support of alumni and friends, I-House is capable of granting scholarships for room and board to over 75 nationalities of students annually. These scholarships are typically offered for a 12-month study cycle, and partial scholarships may be available to deserving students who wish to reside at International House.

Degree Level:
International students at the University of California can apply for room and board scholarships for the 2023 academic year to pursue undergraduate programs at the University of California.

Available Subjects:

All subjects are eligible for study under this scholarship program.

Eligible Nationalities:

International students from any country are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the University of California International House Berkeley Room and Board Scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

– Must be a full-time upper-division (graduate junior or senior) or graduate student enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UC Berkeley. (Exchange students, extension students, summer residents, and visiting scholars are not eligible.)
– Must demonstrate financial need.
– Must have a confirmed room reservation for the semester/year they are applying for. (For undergraduates, this includes double-occupancy rooms, and for graduate students, it includes Low-Price Single or Regular Single rooms).
– UC Berkeley students with enough units to qualify as sophomore level may apply for housing and financial aid.
– Must complete and submit the application, including all supporting documents.
