Baker University seeks qualified applicants for an Enrollment and Retention Coordinator position for the School of Graduate and Online Studies at Baker University’s Overland Park Campus. The Enrollment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for supporting the enrollment and student services teams for graduate and online education. This position works with the enrollment team to generate organic leads and help advise prospective students through the enrollment process from inquiry to enrolled student, and supports student services processes to ensure all students have an exceptional experience throughout their time at Baker. These essential duties require independent thinking and making decisions based on the needs of diverse adult student populations. This individual will work collaboratively and independently with other departments that assist in the student experience including the business office, financial aid, academic advising, faculty inquiries and the registrar. They serve as a representative of the university both internally and externally. This position also ensures enrollment and student services data is up to date and accurate, working within the CRM, SIS, LMS, and other key applications.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; one (1) year of experience in a student or customer service-oriented role; be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office software and database applications; have excellent oral and written communication skills, including professional correspondence; have the ability to work well with others; and be able to multi-task.

In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate professionalism and composure; be able to contribute to a motivated environment; have the ability to monitor key details and set priorities; be goal-oriented mindset; and be able to adapt to change.
