About Rotary Peace Fellowships:
Annually, up to 150 students globally are awarded Rotary Peace Fellowships, enabling them to pursue either a Professional Development Certificate Program or a Master’s Degree Program in the crucial field of peace and conflict resolution. The program has successfully trained over 1,400 fellows since its establishment in 2002, with alumni contributing significantly across diverse sectors worldwide.
Program Details:
Rotary Peace Fellowships are available at esteemed institutions worldwide, including Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), International Christian University (Japan), the University of Bradford (England), the University of Queensland (Australia), Uppsala University (Sweden), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) for certificate programs, and Makerere University (Uganda) for certificate programs.
Degree Level and Subjects:
The fellowship is open to undertake master’s level programs across various subjects at universities in the USA, UK, Japan, Australia, and Sweden.

Eligibility:
Open to international students, the fellowships target individuals with professional experience in international relations, peace, conflict prevention, and resolution. For master’s degree applicants, three years of relevant experience, and for certificate program applicants, five years of pertinent experience are required.
Application Procedure:

2. Research and rank your preferences for Rotary Peace Centers.
3. Prepare and submit your application package in English, including a resume, essays, recommendations, transcripts, and test scores if applicable.
4. Contact your local Rotary district for an interview and endorsement.
5. Submit your online application to your district by May 15th.
6. Participate in an interview with district representatives.
7. Wait for selection results in November and, if chosen, proceed to apply for admission to the designated Peace Center’s university.
