Job Description
The Front Desk Support Specialist will serve as a member of the Front Desk Support Group at Fralin Life Sciences Institute reporting to the administrative coordinator. The position is a full-time position and will be primarily responsible for supporting various front desk activities, such as opening and closing procedures, greeting customers, answering the phone, providing security and calendaring assistance, and conference facilities scheduling and support. During times of high volume, absence or as needed, this position will provide general administrative assistance to the administrative coordinator in support of senior leadership and event-related tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience with administrative support duties in a multifaceted fast-paced office environment performing tasks such as: greeting clients, calendaring, preparing documents, supporting events, etc; Demonstrated strong customer services skills. Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with team members and independently on own tasks. Demonstrated computer proficiency with products such as office software, calendar, and applications. Must be dependable, highly organized, detailed-oriented, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent time management skills. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with administrative duties in support of high-level administrators.
