Institute of Management Accountants
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- This award is for international and U.S. students.
- Must be an Institutue of Management Accountants (IMA) student member.
- Must enroll as a part-time or full-time student.
- Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Must have the expressed intent of pursuing a career in management accounting, financial management, or information technology or have declared a major parallel to one of the predefined fields of study listed above.
- Must be physically located in the United States and be studying at a regionally accredited institution.
- Must be currently enrolled in an institution accredited by the United States to apply for this undergraduate/graduate award.
Description: International and U.S. students attending an accredited institution in the United States who are members of the Institute of Management Accoutants are eligible for this award. Students must have the expressed intent of pursuing a career in management accounting, financial management, or information technology or have declared a major parallel to one of the predefined fields of study listed above and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.Application requirements for the Institute of Management Accountants Scholarship Program are:

Award Amount: $1,000 to $2,500 annually for recipients of the IMA Memorial Education Fund Scholarships (MEF); $5,000 annually for recipients of the Stuart Cameron and Margaret McLeod Memorial Scholarship (SCMS).
All awards are non-renewable. In addition to the monetary award, MEF Scholarship recipients will also receive an award of the first year dues post graduation (associate membership dues), and SCMS recpients will receive lodging, transportation and registration costs for the annual conference (in June) and the student conference (in November). The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,375.

Applications are available online from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) website. In addition to the completed application, each student must submit a one-page resume indicating a summary of the applicant’s employment record (if applicable), leadership activities, and other information pertinent to the application; an official university transcript(s) enclosed in a sealed envelope with the school seal from all institutions attended; two recommendation forms (page seven and eight of the application) sealed in an envelope with the recommender’s signature across the seal; and a two-page written statement addressing the topics listed on page six of the application. All applications must be typed, signed and postmarked or emailed no later than the deadline date.
