Scholarship Details:
The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, in conjunction with the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), is delighted to offer a limited number of scholarships annually to students pursuing various culinary programs:
– Apprenticeship program – Scholarship amount: Up to $1,500
– Certificate programs – Scholarship amount: Up to $1,500
– Postsecondary degree programs – Scholarship amount: Up to $2,500
These scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of our members and partners. Additionally, various dedicated scholarship funds, such as the AAC Andrew Macrina Scholarship and Chef Chris Neary Scholarship, have been established to further support our scholarship initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, applicants must be exemplary students with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. The application process involves a point system, with evaluation criteria including academic performance, culinary competition participation, culinary volunteer activities, and ACF involvement.
Application Procedure:
Applications are assessed by the scholarship selection committee based on the point system. Points can be earned through academic achievements, culinary competition involvement, culinary volunteer work, and ACF participation. Applicants will be notified of scholarship awards or denials via email within 30 business days after the application deadline. Those in need of scholarships in subsequent years are encouraged to reapply.
