    Details of the University of Ottawa Scholarships 2024/2025:

    1.) President’s Scholarship for International Students:
    This prestigious scholarship, valued at $30,000, is awarded to one full-time undergraduate international student. It requires a student visa, a minimum admission average, and a demonstration of leadership qualities and commitment to academic and extra-curricular activities. Renewal is possible for three additional years, provided the student maintains full-time enrollment, international student status, and a minimum CGPA of 8.50. The University also provides a one-time award of $1,500 to applicants in second, third, and fourth place. Deadline: April 30.

    2.) Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students:
    Valued at $26,000, the Chancellor’s Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate international students. Renewal is possible for the remaining three years of undergraduate studies, and applicants must hold a student visa, exhibit leadership abilities, and show commitment to academic and extra-curricular activities. A one-time award of $1,500 is also provided to applicants in second, third, and fourth place. Deadline: April 30.

    3.) Faculty of Arts Dean’s Merit Scholarship:
    The Faculty of Arts awards 10 renewable scholarships valued at $4,000 each. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Arts. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 9.00 or higher. No application is required; the scholarship is awarded during the summer preceding the applicant’s studies.

    4.) Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Merit Scholarship:
    The Faculty of Engineering awards 35 scholarships valued at up to $5,000 to students with outstanding academic credentials. All eligible students, including international students, are automatically considered for this award.

    5.) Faculty of Engineering Memorial Scholarship:
    This scholarship is awarded to seven female students, one from each engineering program. Applicants must submit a letter explaining their choice of an engineering program and an up-to-date resume highlighting academic and extracurricular achievements. All female students admitted to the Faculty of Engineering, including international students, are eligible. Deadline: March 31.
